Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join their client's team in High Point, North Carolina. This role is perfect for someone who has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in crafting high-quality upholstered furniture. The candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure that all products meet the company's standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Receive precut fabrics from the Sewer Department along with work orders. Obtain furniture frames from the Framer Department and attach fabrics, leather, and other upholstery materials.
• Install webbing, foam, padding, springs, and support structures.
• Operate standard upholstery tools, mainly using an air staple gun, shears, and tack hammers.
• Read and follow work orders, patterns, and production specifications.
• Fit, stretch, and secure materials over frames to ensure clean lines and proper tension.

Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 7am-3:45pm.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25 per hour.

Temp-to-Hire after 3 months or sooner.
